- If you accept the Terms, you absolutely agree to comply with them. In any case, your stay on the Website and use of the Platform, whether accompanied using any information provided on it or not, implies the unconditional acceptance of the following terms and conditions.
- If you are accepting on behalf of your employer or another entity, you represent and warrant that: (i) you have full legal authority to bind your employer or such entity to these Terms; (ii) you have read and understand the terms and conditions of these Terms; and (iii) you agree, on behalf of the party that you represent, to these Terms.
- We may amend these Terms from time to time without providing any notification.
- You are responsible for regularly monitoring these Terms for any updates.
- DEFINITIONS
“AI” means Artificial Intelligence.
“User(s)” refers to any individual or entity that accesses the Website or registers on the Platform, including Employers and Candidates.
“Candidate(s)” refers to any individual registering on the Platform and uploading their CV or related professional information.
“Employer(s)” refers to any business, company, or individual using the Platform and creates job listings and reviews candidate CV’s for the relevant job openings browses and access CVs of Candidate.
“Assignee” the registered user who is linked with one more Employer accounts. They are executing operations that relate to the job opening, reviewing candidates, providing feedback, according to their assigned permissions.
“Services” refer to the recruitment and job-matching functionalities provided by the Platform. - SUBJECT MATTER
- The Website comprises a publicly accessible read-only page with general information and links directing Users either to related subdomains with read only accessible blog posts or to the Platform, where full functionality requires registration.
- The Platform functions as an online recruitment hub where Candidates can create profiles and upload their CVs, while Employers can search for potential candidates. The Platform does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information uploaded by Candidates or Employers, nor does it warrant the success of any employment applications made through the Platform.
- If you are an Employer, you can use the platform to search, view, and evaluate Candidate profiles and CVs for recruitment and hiring purposes. The platform provides access to a pool of professionals who have uploaded their CVs and professional details, enabling you to identify potential employees that match your requirements. Employers are prohibited from misusing the platform for unlawful purposes, engaging in discriminatory hiring practices, or processing Candidate data in a way that violates data protection regulations. Failure to comply with these obligations may result in account suspension, legal action, or liability for data protection breaches.
- If you are a Candidate, you can use the platform to create a profile, upload your CV, and provide professional details to be discovered by potential Employers. By doing so, you make your professional background and qualifications accessible to Employers who may be interested in offering job opportunities. The platform does not guarantee employment outcomes, and recruitment decisions are made solely by Employers. While the platform facilitates job matching, negotiations and arranging interviews, employment contracts are conducted independently between Candidates and Employers. Candidates should exercise caution when sharing additional personal information with prospective Employers and are encouraged to report any suspicious activity, misuse, or fraudulent behavior encountered on the Platform.
- USAGE OF PLATFORM
- You must be over 18 years old to use or access the Platform. If you are under 18 you can use the Platform only with the written consent of a parent or guardian. When using the Platform, you agree that you:
- You will not violate any law;
- You will not copy, modify, or distribute any other person’s content without their consent;
- You will not use the Platform in a manner that violates applicable legislation;
- You will not post on the Platform content that is illegal, defamatory, threatening, racist, inciting hatred or exploitation of any other person or entity;
- You will not post on the Platform of content that infringes another person’s copyright and/or intellectual/industrial property rights;
- You will not post on the Platform content that is spam or constitutes cyber-bullying or that shows dangerous / threatening behavior;
- You will not collect from the Platform information concerning third parties who have not granted their consent to this;
- You will not use unauthorized third party login credentials to access the Platform and unauthorized use of the respective accounts.
- We reserve the right to investigate and take legal action against any User violating these provisions, including suspending or terminating access to the Platform.

- USER REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNT SECURITY

- Users are responsible for safeguarding their account credentials and shall not share access with unauthorized parties. Users must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches.
- We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that provide false information, engage in fraudulent activity, or violate these Terms.
- EMPLOYER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Employers must ensure that any recruitment activities conducted through the Platform comply with applicable employment, anti-disrimination, and data protection laws.
- Employers accessing Candidate’s CVs and profiles assume the role of independent data controllers and are responsible for processing candidate data in compliance with GDPR and relevant privacy regulations. Please see our Privacy Policy for further information on Employer’s obligations under the GDPR while using our Website and Platform.
- We are not responsible for employment decisions made by Employers, including recruitment, interview, or hiring processes.
- Any Assignee, meaning any employee, agent, or representative of an Employer who is given access to the platform, shall be subject to the same obligations imposed on the Employer under these Terms. The Employer shall be fully responsible and liable for ensuring that its Assignees comply with:
- Data protection and privacy requirements under GDPR.
- The confidentiality of Candidate information and adherence to ethical hiring practices.
- Any obligations related to secure storage, restricted access, and lawful processing of personal data.
- DATA PROCESSING, PRIVACY, AND USE OF AI
- The processing of personal data on the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy which details how we collect, use, store, and protect User data in compliance with GDPR and applicable data protection laws.
- The Company utilizes artificial intelligence, to analyze and extract relevant information from Candidate’s CVs. This automated processing is used to structure and enhance the data presented to Employers.
- By uploading their CVs, Candidates acknowledge and consent to their data being processed by AI technologies. While AI enhances data extraction, no hiring or employment decisions are made solely by automated processing, and Employers remain responsible for evaluating Candidates.
- Users acknowledge that AI-generated summaries or extracted data may not always be entirely accurate. We are not responsible for errors, omissions, or misinterpretations resulting from AI processing.
- We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance the user experience, analyze Platform traffic, and provide personalized content. Users can manage their cookie preferences through their browser settings. - FEES AND PAYMENT
- Certain features of the Platform may be subject to fees. The applicable pricing will be made available before Users commit to any payments.

- We disclaims all liability for third-party actions, including but not limited to external service providers, Employers, Candidates, or recruitment agencies using the Platform.
- Users agree to indemnify and hold STEPROLE, its affiliates, employees, and representatives harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from their misuse of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of third parties.

We are not responsible or liable and have no obligation to verify any wrong or misspelled or inaccurate information and we will not be liable for any damages arising out of, or in connection with the provision of incorrect information. In no event shall we, nor any of our officers, directors, employees, representatives, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, distributors, affiliate (distribution) partners, licensees, agents or others involved in creating, sponsoring, promoting, or otherwise making available the online services and its contents take any responsibility or accept liability for:

Employers affirm that they have the legal right to use and upload their logos and that doing so does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.
- INDEMNIFICATION
- You agree to indemnify and defend us and our affiliates from any losses, claims, causes of action, demands, recoveries, losses, damages, fines, penalties or other costs or expenses of any kind or nature including but not limited to reasonable legal and accounting fees, brought by third parties as a result of your breach of these Terms including, but not limited to: any breach by persons acting on your behalf who access the online services by using your access information; your violation of any law or the rights of a third party; or your use of these online services.
- RIGHTS AND REMEDIES

- SEVERANCE

- GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

The parties irrevocably agree that the courts of Nicosia, Cyprus shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes or claims, and they waive any objection to proceedings in such courts on the grounds of forum non conveniens or any other jurisdictional argument.
